JOY.
JOY. is a digital exhibition celebrating black joy. Featuring the work of four incredible poets, the project examines what joy means to them. Drawing on themes of family, friendship, and what it means to be tender, JOY. carves out the space in which we become community. Thus over two years, JOY. was made. The project would not have been possible without the contributions of Rakaya Fetuga, Gabriel Akamo, Thembe Mvula and Desree. Nor could it have been done without the creative eye of Samuel Akinwumi.
